This year sees Immersion cooling specialist Asperitas announcing its collaboration with Dell Technologies. Asperitas is now part of Dell’s OEM Engineered Solutions (OES) program, allowing Dell and official partners to be part of a global reseller network of Asperitas.
This relationship focuses on bringing together Dell PowerEdge servers and advanced immersion cooling technology from Asperitas. This integrated offering enables customers to benefit from solutions where performance is unlocked in the most sustainable way.
“Our collaboration with Dell exemplifies our commitment to the sustainable future of datacentres using liquid immersion cooling,” commented Maikel Bouricius, Asperitas CMO. “Providing our immersion technology alongside tried and tested Dell servers ensures that the customer journey into immersion is a smooth one. Asperitas is building a Technology Alliance partnership ecosystem to enable the optimal value for immersion cooling users.”
Dell Technologies and Asperitas have been working together over the years on server validation and other projects – one such project being to jointly support a large European financial institute to achieve their energy efficiency objectives. The project enabled the bank’s datacentres to significantly reduce their energy costs and environmental footprint as well as facilitate more compute driven applications and high-density solutions.
Sustainable growth is key
For customers, especially leaders in datacentre infrastructure and operations, this alliance not only delivers Asperitas/Dell liquid immersion cooling products, but also pioneering expertise from both sides – Asperitas with specialized thermal management proficiency and Dell Technologies as the number one partner for IT infrastructure. All in all, the collaboration reduces business costs while achieving a higher workload performance, ensuring customers can utilize budget for more compute performance, not energy. Low business cost, high customer value.
The Dell hardware will come with Dell Pro Support, with the datacentre installation and system maintenance services being provided by Asperitas. The integrated offering, configured specifically to support any application, is designed to ready Dell PowerEdge servers for immersion and have them compatible with the Asperitas immersion cooling solution to deliver on reliability, performance and sustainability.
