Project Manager

Job description

Asperitas is a hi-speed scale-up, working on hi-tech server hardware platforms which are fully optimised for Immersed Computing® . We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help us in our mission to change the world. Asperitas is looking for an enthusiastic, driven project manager with strong communication skills. An experienced organiser and team player will know exactly what is needed to make our projects a success. The role would span from smaller technically focused R&D internal projects to full scale delivery projects to our customers.

You will work with a small operations team of highly motivated and tech savvy experts and report directly to the Operations Manager and Management Team.

Activities

  • You will work in the Operations department in close cooperation with the Operations Manager;
  • You will take care of the internal and external (customer) technical projects according to scope, budget and time;
  • You will manage (multidisciplinary) project teams and will be responsible for governance, risk and issue management and will monitor progress within your project portfolio;
  • You will prepare and manage (product) implementations at customers’ sites and help implement them;
  • You will prepare and manage internal R&D and operational projects and help execute them;
  • You will initiate project consultations (internally or at the customer’s) and will provide weekly reports on the status of your projects and measures taken in the event of any deviation;
  • You will keep a record of project administration, including time registration per project.


Job requirements

  • A completed Higher Professional education and/or Project Management related courses;
  • At least 3 years’ work experience as project manager in the IT sector (infrastructure and/or software);
  • Experience in data centre, IT or building infrastructure is preferred;
  • Experience in managing (multidisciplinary) project teams for both internal and customer projects;
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills with project team members as well as the Asperitas Management Team;
  • A customer-friendly, result-oriented attitude;
  • Good command of both Dutch and English in word and writing;
  • Driving licence to make customer visits.

Project Engineer

Job description

Asperitas is looking for a project engineer to help us in our mission to change the world. You will be the principle designer in our internal Project team and responsible for all deliveries and services, as well as continuous improvements of the products you deliver. You will be engaging with our manufacturers, partners and customers to streamline project execution and deliver a great experience for customers for Immersed Computing®.

You will work together with a small team of highly motivated and tech savvy experts who have invented many platforms and achieved world record compute densities (GPU&CPU) in our Immersed Computing® systems. You will play a fundamental role in our development roadmap, server development and prototyping of unique systems which require the highest quality standards in the industry.

Activities

  • Commissioning of immersed computing products and projects;
  • Developing and maintaining automation together with partners;
  • Proposing and validating change requests;
  • Executing maintenance and service;
  • Supporting R&D activities;
  • Testing and validating new solutions;
  • Being the contact person for customers.


Job requirements

  • You have completed Higher Technical Education with strong operational skills, or you match requirements in a personal unique way;
  • You are interested in data centre technology, server technology or generic high-tech systems;
  • You have a practical attitude (experience with and enjoyment in bringing technology to work);
  • You collaborate well in a self-managed team with high responsibilities;
  • You have experience in a service/maintenance organisation;
  • You have proficient communication skills in both the Dutch and English language (German and/or French are a bonus);
  • You are result-oriented, structured and professional;
  • You are willing to travel.

It’s great if you also have one or more of the following capabilities:

  • Field Engineer skills, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic;
  • ICT hardware design and/or assembly skills;
  • Solidworks skills;
  • Experience in commissioning and deploying automation solutions or machines;
  • Experience in PLC/SCADA or other automation technology;
  • Interest in sustainable (energy) solutions.
