Project Manager

You will…

be part of the Operations team.

The objective of the role is…

to be is responsible for delivering an Asperitas product (AIC24) to the customer as agreed by the sales organization with the customer. The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus within Asperitas and its suppliers to deliver the product within the agreed time constraints. Customer satisfaction is heavily dependent on the performance of the Project Manager. Fulfilment projects for different customers can run concurrently under the responsibility of the Project Manager Fulfilment. The role of the Project Manager starts after Receiving the order from the Sales organisation.

Your responsibilities are…

  • organize a kick-off meeting and establish regular contact/meetings with customer. Responsible for complete customer order fulfilment and being the primary local point for the customer (electrical, water, cooling)
  • work with Supply Chain and Suppliers to align the delivery of the product in terms of timelines.
  • plan the delivery in agreement with the customer.
  • factory Acceptance Test (in cooperation with engineering and Supply Chain)
  • organize the Logistics such as packaging, transport (Supply Chain) Execute site surveys of customer sites to prepare for delivery and placement of Asperitas systems.
  • planning the delivery of the Asperitas conform the agreements made by the sales organization.
  • commission of immersed computing products and projects.
  • organize in cooperation with the field engineers the Commissioning.
  • manage with the customer all open points that need to be resolved (support from Engineering is required).
  • training customer & support the learning curve of the customer (usually a lot of questions come up in this phase which require an intensive interaction with the Customer.

 

Your key skills are…

  • you have completed a Higher Technical Education (HBO level), preferably in automation.
  • you have at least 2 years experience in Project management in a Technical/IT environment.
  • primary requirements
    – project management skills (planning)
    – you have creativity and problem-solving ability and are an out-of-the-box thinker.
    – you have experience with the placement and commissioning of IT Hardware in a high-tech environment.
    – you have knowledge of and/or experience with installing equipment in high-tech environments.
    – troubleshooting: You have basic knowledge of using software for diagnostics and maintenance.
    – you have excellent communication skills in the English language.
  • strong Communication skills.
  • proven experience with project and programme management.
  • proven experience with managing
    – customer expectations.
    – communications with all stakeholders (internal and external such as the suppliers)
    – synergies when concurrent delivery projects are running.
  • Able to organize training sessions with our customers (using the AIC24 and the Trolley)
  • A willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
  • Able to write and maintain documentation.

    Programme Manager

    You will…

    be part of the Engineering team.

    The objective of the role is…

    to be responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the programme of projects. They will develop and maintain the programme environment support each individual project within it. The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum. The role requires effective co-ordination of the programme’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. It also includes the co-ordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
    • defining the programme’s governance arrangements.
    • ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme.
    • managing the programme’s budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered.
    • managing third party contributions to the programme.
    • managing communications with all stakeholders.
    • managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects.
    • managing risks to the programme’s successful outcome.
    • reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals
    • support and enable the continuous improvement of all Asperitas products and services.
    • take part in specialist and multidisciplinary team meetings.
    • arrange meetings and liaise with engineers and other departments.
    • occasionally travel to clients’ production facilities to commission and maintain systems.
    • make presentations to management and clients.

     

    Your key skills are…

    • a bachelor’s degree Business Administration and or Engineering.
    • professional qualifications in Project Management.
    • proven experience with project and programme management
    • good knowledge of
      – programme and project management methods including MSP, Agile and Prince2
      – budgeting and resource allocation procedures
    • proven experience with managing
      – third party contributions to the programme
      – communications with all stakeholders
      – both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
    • proven experience with managing risks to the programme’s successful outcome.
    • able to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
    • able to write reports and show strong communication skills.
    • a willingness to build and maintain positive working relationships and to share information with others.
    • determination to achieve an end result and show optimism and enthusiasm when things don’t go to plan.

    Field Engineer

    You will…

    to be responsible for commissioning, maintenance and servicing of the modules, cassettes and ancillary equipment including the trolley and storage systems.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • to perform site surveys to prepare for delivery and placement.
    • placement and commissioning of Asperitas systems.
    • to provide maintenance and servicing for all Asperitas products.
    • to consult with and provide support for customers business partners.
    • to perform a wide range of electro-mechanical tasks on components and systems.
    • to be involved and execute technical jobs related to product development and prototyping.

    Solutions Architect

    You will…

    be part of the Marketing & Sales team.

    The objective of the role is…

    to support the sales process by engaging with potential customers to scope their technical requirements (within the IT and datacentre facility context), define the customer solution and manage the total portfolio of Asperitas solutions, bridging market requirements to the R&D department.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • to conduct in-depth, technical discussions with prospects, customers and partners to scope their needs and technical requirements and define the best solution, with the objective to generate business for Asperitas;
    • to support customers in deploying and integrating Asperitas solutions in their datacentre(s);
    • to evaluate market requirements and turn them into solutions, products, or services (solution scoping and definition);
    • to develop product descriptions and conduct end-of-life management;
    • to work closely with the R&D Director to ensure alignment and prioritisation of product development and customisation of the Asperitas solutions;
    • to advise on customer delivery projects (commissioning) and on R&D projects;
    • to oversee the cost implications of proposed solutions;
    • to develop and maintains customer and partner relations in the Asperitas ecosystem, including IT-, Service-, Facility-, Sales- and Logistics partners;
    • generic sales support.

     

    Your key skills are…

    • in-depth understanding of the Asperitas solutions and related technologies (processor technology, physical datacentre infrastructure, software systems);
    • knowledgeable on how the Asperitas solution integrates with IT and Facilities;
    • customer facing, commercial sense, presentation skills, proposal writing;
    • a strong background in the datacentre industry;
    • experience with product marketing/management and product life cycle management will be beneficial.

      Business Development Manager

      You will…

      be part of the Marketing & Sales team.

      Objective of the role is…

      to be responsible for identifying and developing (strategic) business relationships with potential Customers and Partners, working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer. As the Business Development Manager, you will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities, direct with the end-user (Customer) or with/through Partners (OEM vendors and or IT system integrators).

      Your responsibilities are…

      • to identify market trends, explore, analyse, and plan new market opportunities;
      • to develop new propositions and solutions for qualified accounts and new business, in close cooperation with the Solutions Architect;
      • to develop and execute the outbound strategy (direct and indirect);
      • to develop the Partner ecosystem (identification to onboarding of Partners);
      • to prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of the Asperitas solutions;
      • to effectively manage large scale, complex contract negotiations and close new business deals, working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer;
      • to develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline toward targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales;
      • to collaborate with other support teams to ensure successful implementations;
      • to attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote the Asperitas solutions and brand.

       

      Your key skills/competencies are…

      Mechanical Design Engineer

      You will…

      be part of the Engineering team.

      Objective of the role is…

      to be responsible for the development of the module and the cassette, ancillary equipment including the trolley and storage systems. The mechanical design engineer works closely with our Field and Test Engineers to ensure the performance of our products together with procurement and external production partners to achieve low cost, high quality.

      Your responsibilities are…

      • design of components and assemblies;
      • develop requirements specification and product documentation;
      • perform risk assessments;
      • lead performance improvement and innovation initiatives;
      • implement change requests;
      • take part in specialist and multidisciplinary team meetings;
      • arrange meetings and liaise with engineers and other departments;
      • occasionally travel to clients’ production facilities to evaluate the feasibility of production;
      • make presentations to senior design management or clients, either when bidding for a contract or to present design proposals.

       

      Your key skills/competencies are…

      • in-depth knowledge 3D modelling of sheet metal, solid parts, assemblies as well as BOM generation;
      • proven experience with writing, building and testing assembly instructions;
      • familiarity with thermofluids including thermal design, heat transfer and flow;
      • in-depth knowledge of industrial processes, techniques and standards;
      • experienced in Solidworks and PDM;
      • familiarity with IT equipment and datacentres;
      • proven project management and leadership skills;
      • experienced in product design and rapid prototyping;

      Test Engineer

      You will…

      be part of the Engineering team.

      Objective of the role is…

      to evaluate the performance of the modules, cassettes and ancillary equipment including the trolley and storage systems. The test engineer works closely with our Field and Mechanical Design Engineer and reports to Chief Technical Officer.

      Your responsibilities are…

      • perform risk assessments and test plans;
      • deliver testing reports and product documentation;
      • develop test environments and perform tests for all mechanical and electrical systems;
      • ensure the quality of data and estimate margins of error;
      • contribute to performance improvement and innovation initiatives;
      • monitor all testing activities to ensure safety procedures are followed;
      • take part in specialist and multidisciplinary team meetings;
      • arrange meetings and liaise with engineers and other departments;
      • occasionally travel to clients’ production facilities to evaluate the feasibility of production;
      • make presentations to management and clients.

       

      Your key skills/competencies are…

      • in-depth knowledge of data processing and metric calculation performance;
      • proven experience with error estimations and process refinements;
      • familiarity with data science methods and process automation;
      • in-depth knowledge of industrial processes, techniques and standards;
      • proven track record in testing, instrumentation and data acquisition;
      • excellent software skills in Excel and Python. Preferably in Pandas, Matplotlib, Numpy;
      • familiarity with IT equipment and datacentres;
      • able to write reports and product certification documentation;
      • experienced in analysing test results and performing root- cause analyses;
      • able to support partner testing programs and build testing instructions;
