Tactisch Technisch Inkoper

Asperitas is op zoek naar een Tactisch Technisch Inkoper die verantwoordelijk is voor de inkoop van producten, diensten en het management van (strategische) leveranciers.

Functieomschrijving

Als Tactisch Technisch Inkoper ondersteun je de opschaling van de organisatie. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop van producten en diensten, het beheren van uitbestede activiteiten en het nemen van het voortouw bij het identificeren en implementeren van verbeterde inkooptools en -processen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Inkoop van goederen en diensten tegen optimale voorwaarden op het gebied van prijs, kwaliteit en leveringsvoorwaarden met behoud van leverbetrouwbaarheid.
  • Onderhandelen en contracteren met leveranciers om de best mogelijke voorwaarden te verkrijgen.
  • Het opstellen van de juiste serviceniveau overeenkomsten en de belangrijkste prestatie-indicatoren om ervoor te zorgen dat aan de behoeften van het bedrijf en de klanten wordt voldaan.
  • Het voortouw nemen bij het identificeren en implementeren van verbeterde inkooptools, -processen en -systemen die de inkoop bij Asperitas efficiënt en effectief maken.
  • Implementatie van leveranciersrelatiebeheer, het uitvoeren van regelmatige leveranciersbeoordelingen en het beheren van klachtenafhandeling/ claims
  • Beheer van alle contractkosten om binnen vastgestelde budgetten te blijven en manieren te zoeken om de kostenprestaties verder te verbeteren.

Vaardigheden

  • MBO+ of HBO werk- en denkniveau.
  • Het hebben van een certificering in Inkoop zoals NEVI heeft onze voorkeur.
  • 3 – 5 jaar ervaring in Inkoop en/of Supply Chain, bij voorkeur technisch.
  • Ervaring met het vaststellen van budgetten en kostenbeheersing.
  • Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels en Nederlands.
  • Onderhandelings- en analytische vaardigheden.
  • Kennis over hoogtechnologische productproductie.
  • Ervaring met het identificeren en implementeren van inkooptools, systemen en procesverbeteringen inclusief leveranciersbeheer en contractbeheer
  • Hands-on, commerciële mindset, teamplayer, resultaatgericht, gestructureerd, betrokken en agile.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Asperitas is looking for a senior mechanical design engineer who is responsible for the design of products in the Asperitas portfolio, like our advanced immersion cooling and service systems.

Job description

Your mission is to make a positive impact on the datacentre industry because you will be working at the heart of product design in the heart of the Asperitas machine – right at the apex of new technology creation. This is why this job offers a direct challenge to your creativity and offers real-time feedback and job satisfaction.

You will be expected to draw upon both you excellent hard-skill technical side and also your soft-skill interpersonal side, to communicate and collaborate effectively with others in an interdisciplinary team. You will be expected to learn new skills in this dynamic and progressive industry, supported by in-house industry leading experts, providing you with plenty of 360o growth opportunities. Which means that in addition to the challenges of mechanical engineering – designing, building and prototype testing – you will also consider other factors for example: electronics, service, maintenance and infrastructural requirements.

The senior mechanical design engineer is responsible for the full life-cycle development of products in the Asperitas portfolio. They will work within the Engineering Team to design, model, and test prototypes to ensure high performance; with Product Owners in the Commercial Team to ideal concepts and realise product with the features demanded by end-users; and also with the Operations Team together with production partners to ensure the product are designed for manufacture, to achieve both low cost and high quality, and with service partners to ensure we deliver a product that is also design for shipping, commissioning and maintenance.

Your responsibilities are…

  • Work within the Engineering team to ideate concept designs for systems and components
  • Initiate and develop detailed designs for prototype and product components and assemblies
  • Select materials and manufacturing processes
  • Develop designs for manufacture and create drawings for manufacture including tolerances and instructions for finishing and assembly
  • Lead and coordinate DFMEA process; participate and contribute to FMEA processes
  • Drive the qualification of the design by specifying tests
  • Pre-qualification of designs by conducting simulation (FEA and CFD)
  • Designing and realising the test equipment
  • Define and ensure that required prototypes are planned, built and tested
  • Analyse and interpret simulation and testing results methodically, extracting meaning, evaluating KPIs and communicating outcomes
  • Propose iterations to prototypes to achieve goals and engineering compromises, negotiating with the Team to agree changes
  • Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems with existing products within the change management framework
  • Generate, store and manage digital asset and BOMs in the PDM system
  • Deliver technical product documentation including, technical manuals, data and safety sheets.

Your essential key skills/competencies are…

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (with 4 years of experience) or master’s degree (with 2 years of experience)
  • Proven project management experience and skills
  • Ability to perform and contribute to an open and cooperative work environment (team-player)
  • In- depth knowledge
    o 3D modelling of sheet metal, solid parts, assemblies and BOM generation
    o Core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermo-fluids and materials science
    o Industrial processes, techniques, and standards
  • Hands-on experience in Solidworks and PDM
  • Hands-on experience with engineering analysis tools (ie. FEA, also CFD is desirable)
  • Knowledge of mathematical computing and analysis tools (ie. Excel)
  • Ability to design concepts with a broad comprehension of requirements and pragmatic attitude.
  • Ability to translate concepts into practical designs with a focus on performance and drive to meet requirements.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and be creative and resourceful in problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to make high level summary reports and also low-level detailed reports, eg. for executive and peer updates.
  • Fluency in English.

Your desirable key skills/competencies are…

  • Familiarity with thermo-fluids including thermal design, heat transfer and flow.
  • Familiarity with electronics cooling, and especially liquid cooling.
  • Familiarity with IT equipment and datacentres.
