Senior Financial Controller

You will…

be part of the Accounting team.

The objective of the role is…

As part of the scale-up of Asperitas, the financial and administrative organisation, structures and processes have to be scaled-up to support more projects and larger volumes. Internal control, cost and risk management and financial planning have to be taken to the next level. For this purpose a financial controller with experience in a manufacturing and project sales environment will be recruited. The controller is in essence responsible for setting up and managing the right financial and administrative structure and processes to support the scale-up of the company.

Your responsibilities are…

  • define and implement next level (financial, administrative and supply chain) processes and IT to support the scale-up;
  • initiate process improvements, both internally and throughout the supply chain;
  • implement and/or improve KPIs, financial reporting, monthly, quarterly, annual closings, governance and compliance structure, aligned with statutory law and financial regulations;
  • outsource IT admin to external service provider;
  • assure professional administration (pay roll, tax, etc), accounting and internal control;
  • active cash management and financial planning/forecasting, including risk minimalization planning. Support investment rounds together with our financial advisors and lawyers;
  • focal point for and pro-active communication to board and shareholders regarding financial information;
  • focal point for external accountant, tax authorities etc;
  • initiate and manage subsidy submissions and reporting;
  • manage the annual budget rounds and actively monitor and report on KPI performance;
  • improve project-based costing and project administration, review and analysis of closed projects;
  • active management of cost prices, stock levels, project costs and implementation of cost down initiatives
  • AP/AR management, ensuring payment is received from customers and other debtors;

 

Your key skills are…

  • affinity with clean-tech, products that make our planet more sustainable;
  • a degree (minimal bachelor) in accounting or in a related field;
  • at least 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/supply chain environment;
  • excellent financial and reporting skills;
  • experience with accounting of project sales / project costing
  • a proactive and hands on mentality;
  • good communicator and able to move between operational and strategic level;
  • IT literate, both ERP and Excel;
  • a willingness to build and maintain positive working relationships and to share information with others;
  • determination to achieve end results and showing optimism and enthusiasm when things don’t go to plan.

You will…

The objective of the role is…

the development of a product plan in line with our corporate strategy, maximizing revenue, profit and customer satisfaction. In addition, delivering new products on time and budget while protecting high product quality levels.

Your responsibilities are…

  • input to the product strategy and product roadmap;
  • delivering MRD’s and PRD’s with prioritised features and corresponding justification;
  • developing the core positioning and messaging for the product;
  • setting pricing strategy to meet revenue and profit goals;
  • delivering monthly revenue forecasts;
  • developing sales tools and train sales team accordingly;
  • performing product demos to customers;
  • making presentations to management and clients.

Your key skills are…

  • a minimum of 5 years experience as Product Manager of Product Marketing Manager;

    Solutions Architect

    You will…

    be part of the Marketing & Sales team.

    The objective of the role is…

    to support the sales process by engaging with potential customers to scope their technical requirements (within the IT and datacentre facility context), define the customer solution and manage the total portfolio of Asperitas solutions, bridging market requirements to the R&D department.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • to conduct in-depth, technical discussions with prospects, customers and partners to scope their needs and technical requirements and define the best solution, with the objective to generate business for Asperitas;
    • to support customers in deploying and integrating Asperitas solutions in their datacentre(s);
    • to evaluate market requirements and turn them into solutions, products, or services (solution scoping and definition);
    • to develop product descriptions and conduct end-of-life management;
    • to work closely with the R&D Director to ensure alignment and prioritisation of product development and customisation of the Asperitas solutions;
    • to advise on customer delivery projects (commissioning) and on R&D projects;
    • to oversee the cost implications of proposed solutions;
    • to develop and maintains customer and partner relations in the Asperitas ecosystem, including IT-, Service-, Facility-, Sales- and Logistics partners;
    • generic sales support.

    Your key skills are…

    • in-depth understanding of the Asperitas solutions and related technologies (processor technology, physical datacentre infrastructure, software systems);
    • knowledgeable on how the Asperitas solution integrates with IT and Facilities;
    • customer facing, commercial sense, presentation skills, proposal writing;
    • a strong background in the datacentre industry;
    • experience with product marketing/management and product life cycle management will be beneficial.

    Program Manager – Customer Facing

    You will…

    The objective of the role is…

    The Program Manager is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the program of projects.

    This includes the development of the program environment to support each individual project within it. The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum. The role requires effective co-ordination of the program’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising.

    It also includes the co-ordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits as well as a smooth transfer to our operational teams.

    This role is focused on a strategic customer/partner and key-account for Asperitas, where each account is centered around a multi-year roadmap of several datacentre projects on the short and long term, from proof of concept to international scale-up and from preparation to execution. Each of the projects include highly innovative components and therefor consist of clear a design/develop/test phase and a delivery/installation and support phase. Each phase will be driven by a consortium of (international) partners including server and semi-conductor OEM’s and ODM’s, datacenter facility designers/advisors/operators and the customer team.

    The Program Manager will represent Asperitas in this consortium to ensure activities for Asperitas are prepared and planned for and well executed by the wider team.

    This role ownership is ensuring there is a clear project overview, set of requirements, planning, defined responsibilities within a scope of work as well documented communication and stakeholder management activities. You will work with both technical and commercial stakeholders across different timezones, flexibility is key for this role. As a program manager you will work together with Asperitas colleagues for business development, design engineering, testing, operations and services. This is not an engineering role, but the projects are technical of nature and a good understanding of IT hardware, datacentres and interest in new technologies will be beneficial. As a Program Manager you will play a crucial role to drive growth and customer success and contribute to innovative and ground-breaking projects in the datacenter and cloud industry.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
    • defining the program’s governance arrangements.
    • ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program
    • managing the program’s budgets, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered

    IT Engineer

    You will…

    be part of the Engineering team.

    The objective of the role is…

    to be responsible for developing solutions for IT layout, working together with design engineers to optimize space claim, interface and cooling requirements. Also to develop and deploy load simulators software, build IT configurations for CPU, GPU and communications hardware and evaluate the performance of the cassettes.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • assembly of IT hardware;
    • installation of our operating systems;
    • configuration of IT Equipment for testing;
    • configuration of load simulators for use-cases;
    • testing of IT Performance for CPU and GPU systems, storage and communication systems;
    • performing risk assessment and test plans;
    • delivering testing report and product documentation;
    • developing test environments and test cases for all software systems;
    • contributing to system design and innovation initiatives;
    • working with design engineers with space claim and placement;
    • contributing to performance improvement;

    to evaluate the performance of the modules, cassettes and ancillary equipment including the trolley and storage systems. The test engineer works closely with our Field and Mechanical Design Engineer and reports to Chief Technical Officer.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • perform risk assessments and test plans;

    • develop test environments and perform tests for all mechanical and electrical systems;
    • ensure the quality of data and estimate margins of error;
    • contribute to performance improvement and innovation initiatives;

    • occasionally travel to clients’ production facilities to evaluate the feasibility of production;

    • proven experience with error estimations and process refinements;

    Mechanical Design Engineer

The mechanical design engineer works closely with our Field and Test Engineers to ensure the performance of our products together with procurement and external production partners to achieve low cost, high quality.
