Financial Controller

You will…

be part of the Accounting team.

The objective of the role is…

to oversee accounting activities and ensure that ledgers accurately reflect money coming in and out of Asperitas. The controller is in essence responsible for the financial and regulatory compliance of the company.

Your responsibilities are…

  • high level financial reporting and analysis;
  • ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations;
  • improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business;
  • developing financial reviews and providing investment advice;

The objective of the role is…

the development of a product plan in line with our corporate strategy, maximizing revenue, profit and customer satisfaction. In addition, delivering new products on time and budget while protecting high product quality levels.

Your responsibilities are…

  • input to the product strategy and product roadmap;
  • delivering MRD’s and PRD’s with prioritised features and corresponding justification;

    Solutions Architect

    You will…

    be part of the Marketing & Sales team.

    The objective of the role is…

    to support the sales process by engaging with potential customers to scope their technical requirements (within the IT and datacentre facility context), define the customer solution and manage the total portfolio of Asperitas solutions, bridging market requirements to the R&D department.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • to conduct in-depth, technical discussions with prospects, customers and partners to scope their needs and technical requirements and define the best solution, with the objective to generate business for Asperitas;
    • to support customers in deploying and integrating Asperitas solutions in their datacentre(s);
    • to evaluate market requirements and turn them into solutions, products, or services (solution scoping and definition);
    • to develop product descriptions and conduct end-of-life management;
    • to work closely with the R&D Director to ensure alignment and prioritisation of product development and customisation of the Asperitas solutions;
    • to advise on customer delivery projects (commissioning) and on R&D projects;
    • to oversee the cost implications of proposed solutions;
    • to develop and maintains customer and partner relations in the Asperitas ecosystem, including IT-, Service-, Facility-, Sales- and Logistics partners;
    • generic sales support.

    Your key skills are…

    • in-depth understanding of the Asperitas solutions and related technologies (processor technology, physical datacentre infrastructure, software systems);
    • knowledgeable on how the Asperitas solution integrates with IT and Facilities;
    • customer facing, commercial sense, presentation skills, proposal writing;
    • a strong background in the datacentre industry;

    Objective of the role is…

    to be responsible for identifying and developing (strategic) business relationships with potential Customers and Partners, working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer. As the Business Development Manager, you will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities, direct with the end-user (Customer) or with/through Partners (OEM vendors and or IT system integrators).

    • providing network consulting and leadership for data.
    • performing design integration for complex cross functional systems and lead technical design reviews.
    • leading and monitor the delivery of specialized modified network equipment along with the analysis of requirements.

    IT Engineer

    to be responsible for developing solutions for IT layout, working together with design engineers to optimize space claim, interface and cooling requirements. Also to develop and deploy load simulators software, build IT configurations for CPU, GPU and communications hardware and evaluate the performance of the cassettes.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • assembly of IT hardware;
    • installation of our operating systems;
    • configuration of IT Equipment for testing;
    • configuration of load simulators for use-cases;
    • testing of IT Performance for CPU and GPU systems, storage and communication systems;

    Project Fulfilment Manager

    You will…

    be part of the Operations team.

    The objective of the role is…

    to be responsible for delivering an Asperitas product (AIC24) to the customer as agreed by the sales organization with the customer. The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus within Asperitas and its suppliers to deliver the product within the agreed time constraints. Customer satisfaction is heavily dependent on the performance of the Project Manager. Fulfilment projects for different customers can run concurrently under the responsibility of the Project Manager Fulfilment. The role of the Project Manager starts after Receiving the order from the Sales organisation.

    Your responsibilities are…

    • organize a kick-off meeting and establish regular contact/meetings with customer. Responsible for complete customer order fulfilment and being the primary local point for the customer (electrical, water, cooling)
    • work with Supply Chain and Suppliers to align the delivery of the product in terms of timelines.
    • plan the delivery in agreement with the customer.
    • factory Acceptance Test (in cooperation with engineering and Supply Chain)
    • organize the Logistics such as packaging, transport (Supply Chain) Execute site surveys of customer sites to prepare for delivery and placement of Asperitas systems.
    • planning the delivery of the Asperitas conform the agreements made by the sales organization.
    • commission of immersed computing products and projects.
    • organize in cooperation with the field engineers the Commissioning.
    • manage with the customer all open points that need to be resolved (support from Engineering is required).
    • training customer & support the learning curve of the customer (usually a lot of questions come up in this phase which require an intensive interaction with the Customer.

    Your key skills are…

    • you have completed a Higher Technical Education (HBO level), preferably in automation.
    • you have at least 2 years experience in Project management in a Technical/IT environment.
    • primary requirements
      – project management skills (planning)
      – you have creativity and problem-solving ability and are an out-of-the-box thinker.
      – you have experience with the placement and commissioning of IT Hardware in a high-tech environment.

    Asperitas is a Dutch clean and high-tech scale-up with an HQ in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

    The company has developed and marketed Immersed Computing®, a technology based on immersion liquid cooling to enable datacentres to function in a sustainable manner, even for the most demanding users and environments.

    In 2018, Asperitas won the international New Energy Challenge competition organised by Shell, Rockstart and YES!Delft.
