At Cisco Live 2026, Asperitas presented how immersion cooling supports high performance compute in edge and on site environments.

At the stand, we demonstrated the DFCX1 immersion cooling system, operating with a live dashboard to show performance under real workload conditions.
DFCX1 is designed to support power intensive compute in edge and on site environments where thermal stability and operational reliability are critical.
The system is part of a broader integration approach developed together with partners such as UNICOM Engineering.

DFCX Far Edge concept

The DFCX Far Edge concept explores how immersion cooling can be applied in non datacentre environments, where reliability, serviceability, and simplicity are essential.

Key features:

• Modular design for optimized logistics and easy assembly
• Minimum site impact and efficient use of space
• Flexible hose connections for adaptable placement and integration with dry coolers
• Securely integrated PDUs with optimized cable routing
• Designed for the Cisco Unified Edge server with 5U integration

At its core, the concept is built on Asperitas Direct Forced Convection technology, delivering market leading cooling performance.

It also builds on a broader ecosystem, including cooling fluids and infrastructure components validated with partners such as Shell.
